In a dungeon beneath the ground
Living as an exile alone
In a filthy prison town
The Manifestation foretold
As the ‘Glory of the Father’
Was suffering affliction
So we could learn to love each other

Living in a world of souls
Divided amongst themselves
Race riots and gang war and so
It’s a sad sad story to tell
And just when it seems that
The side of darkness now has won
The truth lights up the sky
Like the dawn of the morning sun
